The story behind this EP:
So one day I thought "Hmm, some of these songs are actually kinda cool but they sound kinda crap"
I decided to remaster some of them (which was released a few months ago) and remix some of them.

I wanted to set myself up with a challenge and remix these songs, rather than just straight up re-record it all.
I re-amped all the guitars using all the old stems, and applied all the knowledge and skills that I've acquired to make the tracks sound better.
I also wanted to create all new synths, pianos, strings, etc etc. so the songs would sound drastically different, rather than just a simple process of changing the guitar tones and sending them on their way.

I recorded these songs between 2011 and 2013 when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and was totally 100% winging it. (I'm now down to maybe about 50% winging it, give or take)
These were recorded tremendously badly and needed alot of work editing the stems to get them a bit closer to what I feel is an acceptable standard.
The bass guitars were especially bad and the bass guitar in track 4 could not be salvaged.
Any recording savvy people listening may be able to pick out the clipping and digital distortion etc that are baked into the recordings. I feel as though these are a reflection of my skills at the time, and comparing them to my latest tracks serve as a reminder to myself of how far I have come as a producer.

Just a heads up, tracks 2, 3, and 4 are long songs. (around 7 mins) so grab a cup of tea or whatever before you sit down and drift away to some ambient silliness.
